I believe this is my most successful photograph because it captures the moment the sky changed colors while my room remained in darkness, therefore demonstrating the back lighting technique. After learning each technique, the most challenging part of this assignment was capturing a photo that clearly demonstrated each one. In the future, I’ll take more time to think about what I want each photo to express before I take it. I’ll pay closer attention to lighting, colors and composition that can make a difference in a photograph.
I really like this image! I think a lot of things are at play here that make it a good picture. I really like the use of back light that makes the door frame look really dark especially against the light pastel colors of the sunset. I think maybe with some editing it could make the colors of the sunset pop out more and the picture would look even better, but overall I really liked this picture! I think it really conveys the mood you were trying to capture when you took it.
